Moving chaos and a broken air conditioner

As was almost to be expected, no quick solution could be found for Benjamin. The AIESEC people came round two days after his arrival and made several suggestions. One of them was that I should move to T-Nagar. I actually do want to move to T-Nagar (because it's right across from where I work), but not into the room I was offered. It was a room previously occupied by a couple, with nothing in it but a double bed. Unfortunately it was the girl who moved out, not the guy, so for the remaining four months I would have had to share a mattress with him. And that mattress was only about 120 cm wide, so not exactly a massive double bed. On top of that, the room has no air conditioning. So I politely declined. Then they wanted to put poor Benni in that room, but he refused too.

That same evening we went to Bike and Barrels, and I explained the room problem to a Polish intern (Kasia). Well, it turned out her room is only half occupied, so Benni has now moved in with Kasia. Without any help from the AIESEC people. They're somehow a bit disorganised…
