The big trip – part 2 Agra
Unfortunately I was still laid up on the first day in Agra, but after that the medicine I'd had prescribed at a very rural hospital kicked in. Here's a picture from the journey to Agra in an Indian sleeper compartment (cheapest class):
Indian medicine is seriously the bomb anyway. Stomach problems, fever and so on: everything's gone in no time. And I can't read the leaflet with the side effects…
On our second day in Agra we tackled the Taj Mahal. For Indians the entrance fee is about €1; foreigners like us have to pay about €15. Well, we thought that was unfair, but the Taj Mahal was definitely worth the price. We spent many hours in the wonderful gardens and let the truly impressive building sink in. The Taj Mahal really is one of the wonders of the world…
